Hearty British Food in the wonderful Wimbledon Village!
Living in Wimbledon myself this is the perfect place for a Sunday Roast, Friday night bottle of wine or of course in the Summer jugs of Pimm’s whilst watching the tennis or football.
This pub really is a place for everyone, families, friends, children & believe it or not – dogs!
I particularly like going to the Dog and Fox on a cold Sunday, enjoying a roast and sitting by one of the open fire’s. You wont want to leave!
I would recommend ‘The twice cooked Dingley Dell Pork Belly’ and the Sunday roasts. (Served from 12-4pm)
On my next visit, which will no doubt be soon I’m going to have the short crust pie with creamy mash (hope my personal trainer doesn’t ever read this) – comfort food at it’s finest!
Nearest Stations: Wimbledon (District Line & National Rail)
Bus: You can take the 93 bus (towards Putney Bridge) from outside Wimbledon Station up the hill to Wimbledon Village. The bus stops just outside the Dog & Fox.
